The importance of being idle

I'm sorry but Noel Gallagher never made more sense to me in my entire life. Read all about Live 8 here.

He says, "Correct me if I'm wrong, but are they hoping that one of these guys from the G8 is on a quick 15 minute break at Gleneagles and sees Annie Lennox singing Sweet Dreams and thinks, 'Fuck me, she might have a point there, you know?"

Yes, I'm working from home. My face is so freakin red I'm starting to resemble the Singing Detective. But not Robert Downey Jr's rubbish "interpretation" ... Michael Gambon, the real deal. Except I'm not as, erm, chunky as he is.

In the absense of trackback, a link: http://www.stephennewton.com/2005/06/pop-culture-politics-live8-u2.html

In the absence of trackbacks, and who fucking cares in this heat ...

As a wise mine once said "never argue about music, religion or politics". Seems like we have all 3 here. Yes, it would be nice if Mr Geldof or indeed the almighty (prick) Bono wrote off my mortgage or God forbid run a comb through his hair. It's not not going to happen.

I merely found Mr Gallagher's comments funny.

Sorry, I meant Sir Bob should at least take a bath or comb his hair.

I'm sure Bono is well groomed. Like I care.
